Our unit at Purulia is equipped with 2 sub-merged electric arc furnaces of 9.0MVA. We test both our raw materials and finished goods to maintain best quality. Our monthly capacity for Ferro Alloys Production is 3500 MT.

Our Ferro Alloys sub-merged electric arc furnaces are powered by our captive power plant, consisting of waste heat recovery boilers for green and clean energy at competitive rates.

QUALITY CONTROL

Maithan Steel holds ISO 9001-2008 certification, guaranteeing meticulous quality control throughout the production cycle. We have a sophisticated laboratory equipped for continuous monitoring and quality assurance of both of raw materials and finished goods. Our Quality Control Labs consist of analytical balance, moisture analyser, carbon detoniser along with carbon and sulphur analysers.

CERTIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS

Maithan Steel has obtained ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 18001:2007 certifications for Quality Standard Management, Environment Management, and Occupational Health & Safety Management, respectively. Maithan Steel's policy is to set itself apart as an industry frontrunner by instillingvaluesandadheringtothehighestlevelsof health and safety standards.
